Lucerna Lamp Bracket

The Lucerna lantern is designed to be carried, set on a table, or hung — and this bracket is what makes the third option possible. It is a simple wall-mounted arm from which the lamp suspends, allowing the same fixture to move between a dinner table and a wall as an evening progresses.

Two finishes are offered: plain aluminium, which keeps the bracket visually recessive, and brass-plated aluminium, which picks up the warmer metal notes in the lantern itself and develops a patina over time.

Luca Nichetto designed Lucerna for Ethimo around the idea of the oil lamp — a portable, low, warm light rather than a fixed installation. The bracket respects that: the lamp lifts off it without tools.

Mounted in a series along a garden wall or under a loggia, brackets and lanterns give an outdoor space the kind of punctuated lighting that reads far better after dark than uniform floodlighting.
