Arco 2 Seat Sofa

Arco is where GANDIABLASCO’s famously rectilinear aluminium language gives way to something softer. “The linear rigor of the aluminum profiling characteristic of GANDIABLASCO is softened, exploring an organic geometry that embraces the user,” is how José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales describes it — and the two-seater is the clearest demonstration.

At 180 cm wide, 83 cm deep and 75 cm high, the sofa is compact enough for a terrace but deep enough to genuinely lounge in. The frame is powder-coated aluminium, available across the brand’s extensive colour range, paired with a powder-coated perforated sheet that lightens the mass of the back and lets air and light pass through it.

Comfort is engineered rather than assumed. Seat and backrest are built from reusable polyurethane foam rubber and polyester fibre, wrapped in water-repellent fabric, with removable technical outdoor upholstery over the top so covers can be taken off and cleaned. Optional decorative cushions use the same construction.

The collection was conceived to connect interior and exterior space, and it pairs naturally with the Arco round coffee table Ø90 — the curve of the table echoing the arc of the sofa’s frame in a clean geometric interplay.
