The Dunne lounge chair by Nao Tamura for GANDIABLASCO measures 105 x 95 x 78 cm — unusually wide and deep for a single seat. Powder-coated aluminium frame, polyurethane and polyester cushioning in water-repellent fabric, quick-drying armrests.
At 105 cm wide and 95 cm deep, the Dunne lounge chair is closer in footprint to a small sofa than a conventional armchair. That is the point — Nao Tamura designed it to be sat in sideways, cross-legged, or curled up, rather than in one correct posture.
The proportions come from the same thinking behind the collection’s three-seater: depth over height, generosity over formality. At 78 cm the back is supportive without being imposing.
The frame is powder-coated aluminium in GANDIABLASCO’s full colour range. Seat and backrest are polyurethane foam rubber and polyester fibre wrapped in water-repellent fabric, and the armrests use a quick-drying construction so the chair recovers fast after rain.
Two Dunne lounge chairs across the collection’s concrete-topped coffee table make a complete, low-key terrace setting.
