Onsen Club Chair
The Onsen club chair by Francesco Meda and David Quincoces for GANDIABLASCO measures 74 x 73 x 68 cm, built on satin AISI 316L stainless steel tube and powder-coated aluminium with woven synthetic leather, vinyl and polyester strapping.
Onsen is named for the Japanese hot spring, and the collection is built for exactly that kind of wet environment. The frame is satin AISI 316L stainless steel — marine grade — combined with powder-coated aluminium.
The seat and back are woven from synthetic leather, vinyl and polyester strapping. It is a construction that dries almost instantly, which is the point: this is furniture designed to be sat on straight out of the water.
At 74 x 73 cm the club chair is compact and low at 68 cm, sized to cluster around the collection’s coffee tables.
