The Aida dining chair by Rugiano has a fully upholstered shell with a continuous profile and a curved backrest that embraces the body, on a slender supporting structure.
Aida reads as a single fluid gesture. The padded shell runs in an unbroken profile, and the curved backrest is shaped to meet the body rather than simply stop behind it.
The supporting structure is deliberately slender — light, carefully proportioned, doing its work without asking to be noticed. The visual balance between the soft volume above and the fine legs below is the whole design.
Smooth surfaces meet textured finishes in the upholstery, adding a tactile dimension that only registers up close.
