Patio Self-Supporting Hammock
The Patio self-supporting hammock by Zanellato/Bortotto for Ethimo stands 300 x 130 x 130 cm on its own freestanding frame — no trees or walls required. FSC-certified natural teak with a textured Limestone White metal base, woven outdoor rope in Light Grey or Laguna, and decorative cushions in Polypropylene White.
Most hammocks depend on something else — two trees, a pair of posts, a wall. The Patio hammock brings its own architecture. At 300 cm long and 130 cm wide and tall, it stands anywhere: in the middle of a lawn, on a roof terrace, beside a pool.
Zanellato/Bortotto designed it as part of Ethimo’s Patio collection, and the same woven language carries through. The stand combines FSC-certified natural teak with a metal base in textured Limestone White; the rope is offered in Light Grey on Light Grey or Laguna on Light Grey, matching the collection’s seating.
Decorative cushions in outdoor Polypropylene White complete the piece, giving somewhere to rest a head without the fussiness of a full cushion set.
It is the most relaxed object in the collection and, characteristically for these designers, also one of the most carefully engineered — the frame has to be light enough to look casual and rigid enough to be genuinely safe.
