Amalfi Armchair

The Amalfi armchair takes the sofa’s language and compresses it into one seat. The same rounded, almost monolithic upholstered form, the same slim mahogany base with chrome detailing, at a scale you can pull into a conversation.

Rugiano describe the collection’s register as Mediterranean essentiality, and that is accurate — there is very little ornament here. What the chair has instead is proportion: a back high enough to lean into, arms wide enough to actually use, and a seat low enough to relax in.

Paired across the Amalfi coffee table, two armchairs make a complete terrace setting; alongside the two- or three-seater they extend it without any change in vocabulary.
