Ace Beam With Legs
The Ace beam with legs by Patrick Norguet for Ethimo is the structural base of the Ace system, available in 150, 210, 240 and 300 cm lengths at 39 cm high. Powder-coated aluminium in Black Red, Moss Green, Warmwhite or Coffee Brown.
Ace is a system rather than a set of finished pieces, and the beam with legs is the element everything else attaches to. Patrick Norguet designed it for Ethimo as a clean aluminium spine — 39 cm high, offered in four lengths of 150, 210, 240 and 300 cm.
On its own the beam is a bench base. Add Ace seats with or without backrests and it becomes a bench of whatever length and configuration a space needs; add the free-standing panel and it becomes a seating unit with a screen.
The aluminium is powder-coated in four finishes: Aluminium Black Red, Aluminium Moss Green, Aluminium Warmwhite, and Aluminium Coffee Brown. All four are FSC-certified within the wider Ace collection, which also uses teak for the seat surfaces.
The appeal for larger projects is straightforward — one component covers a lot of ground, and the resulting benches read as a considered installation rather than a row of separate items.
