Swing XL Central Module

The XL central module exists for one reason: length. Building a long sofa from standard-width modules means a lot of connection points and a lot of cushion seams. The XL covers more ground per unit, so a five-metre run reads as a single continuous seat.

It is armless on both sides, designed to sit between corner or back end modules rather than to terminate a run itself.

Construction matches the rest of Patrick Norguet’s Swing system for Ethimo: FSC-certified teak in natural or pickled finish, a slim powder-coated metal frame in Sepia Black or Warmwhite, and outdoor-grade Acrylic Nature Grey cushions.

The visual lightness of the frame is what makes modules of this width work. A solidly upholstered sofa of the same length would dominate a terrace; Swing keeps the floor visible beneath it.
