The Marina Soft sofa by Rugiano reinterprets the collection’s signature weave in padded tubular form. A continuous tubular element runs the length of the piece, softening the graphic structure into something tactile and enveloping.
Marina Soft is the most embracing version of the Marina collection. Rugiano took the hand-woven structure the line is known for and reworked it in a more fluid, tactile language.
The tubular element is the star — it runs the entire length of the piece, padded rather than taut, so the weave reads as upholstery instead of structure. The graphic rhythm of the original is still there; it has simply been softened.
Sinuous lines and generous padding give the sofa an unusually welcoming presence for something this architectural, which is why it specifies as well into residential terraces as into contract settings.
