Amalfi Sunbed
The Amalfi sunbed by Rugiano is built on a fine mahogany frame with chrome-finished details, carrying generous cushions upholstered in outdoor fabrics on a low-profile base.
Most sunbeds are engineering with a cushion on top. Amalfi is the other way round — the cushions are the piece, and the mahogany frame exists to hold them just clear of the ground.
Soft lines and generous proportions define it, in keeping with the rest of the collection. The chrome-finished details on the timber give it a contemporary edge that stops the wood reading as traditional.
It is designed for sophisticated poolside settings where a lounger is expected to look considered even when nobody is on it — which, most of the day, is the case.
