The construction begins with a powder-coated aluminium frame, lightweight yet structurally precise, over which synthetic cord is hand-woven in the same dense, interlocking pattern that runs consistently throughout the Portofino collection. This weave is not merely aesthetic, it is the material intelligence of the piece. Synthetic cord of this quality is engineered to resist UV degradation, moisture, and the sustained pressure of daily outdoor use without losing its tension, texture, or colour over time.
