Materia Coffee Table

Materia is built around its bases. Two solid Asian teak volumes, shaped into soft “soap-bar” forms, support the top from either side — an unusual arrangement that reads as sculpture more than structure.

The round top is glossy glazed lava stone or glass. Against the warmth of the teak, the glaze provides the contrast the collection depends on.

Solid and refined at once, which is the balance most outdoor low tables miss in one direction or the other.
