Pouf-coffee table STRESA 104
The Stresa Pouf by Roda, designed by Piero Lissoni, is a powder-coated aluminum outdoor pouf with a grès or glass top option. Clean-lined and versatile, it works as a standalone seat or pairs with the coffee table module for flexible outdoor living.
A Design That Knows What It Is
Piero Lissoni designed Stresa with a clear idea in mind: no excess, no noise. The proportions are balanced, the lines are clean, and nothing feels forced. At roughly 35 inches wide and just under 12 inches tall, the pouf sits low and grounded — the kind of piece that anchors a space without demanding attention. The perforated diamond-pattern detail, more visible across the lounge pieces in the collection, carries through as a quiet signature of the range.
Built From the Outside In
The structure is powder-coated aluminum throughout. That means it’s light enough to move around easily, strong enough to handle real outdoor conditions, and fully recyclable. The finish comes in Smoke, which sits well against both natural and more urban surroundings. For configurations that include a top, the options are grès in Sand, Mole, or Lead, and wavy glass in Fern, Navy, or Paprika. Grès in particular is a dense, low-maintenance material — it holds up well against weather and wear without looking like it’s trying too hard.
Comfort at Ground Level
The seat height without a cushion is just under 12 inches. Add a cushion and it comes up to about 17¾ inches — a comfortable, relaxed sitting position. The cushions are hydro-draining, so water moves through rather than sitting on the surface. Cover options are extensive, ranging across fabrics like Allegro, Oxford, Loom, Shore, and more. But the construction does the real work — the cushions are built for outdoor use, not just styled to look like it.
One Piece, Several Configurations
What makes the Stresa pouf particularly useful is how it functions within the broader collection. It’s available as a single or double version, and it can integrate a coffee table top — turning it into a combination of seating and surface in one compact unit. That flexibility matters in outdoor settings where space is often at a premium, or where the arrangement shifts depending on the occasion. It works in a private terrace just as naturally as it does in a contract or hospitality environment.
Made to Stay Outside
Roda builds pieces for the long term, and Stresa reflects that. The aluminum frame won’t rust or corrode. The grès tops resist the kind of wear that comes with real outdoor use. And the collection as a whole — sofas, lounge chairs, dining chairs, tables, and this pouf — is designed to hold together visually over time, even as pieces are mixed and matched. It doesn’t need to be brought inside every season. That’s the point.
