Knit XL Dining Table

This is the largest table in Patrick Norguet’s Knit collection for Ethimo, and at 263 x 110 cm it is genuinely a table for ten. The scale is the point — it is meant to be the fixed centre of an outdoor dining space rather than something moved around seasonally.

Construction is solid FSC-certified teak throughout, with a top built from wide boards laid to show the grain running the full length. At 95 kg the table is heavy, which is a feature: it does not move in wind and it does not need the bracing that lighter outdoor tables rely on.

Two finishes are offered. Natural teak is the warm, honeyed tone that silvers gradually with exposure. Pickled teak arrives already at a soft grey, which suits schemes where the warmth of new timber would be too much.

Surrounded by Knit dining armchairs or dining chairs — with their woven rope backs — the table anchors the collection’s full material story of teak and cord.
