Introduced in 2023, the Pierre collection by Flou is a celebration of relaxed living and effortless conviviality. Designed by Studio Contromano, this seating collection was conceived for spaces where comfort and social connection take centre stage. Its distinctively irregular silhouettes and generously proportioned seats invite you to slow down, settle in, and savour the moment — whether on a sun-drenched terrace, a landscaped garden, or an elegant outdoor lounge.

Sculptural Form Meets Enveloping Comfort

At the heart of the Pierre collection lies a refined interplay between sculptural design and tactile comfort. Each sofa features a softly curved, flowing backrest that wraps around the sitter in a gentle embrace, creating a sense of enclosure without sacrificing openness. The wide, deep seat encourages a natural lounging posture, making Pierre as visually striking as it is physically inviting. The organic, free-form shapes give each piece a character that feels both artistic and approachable.

Built for the Outdoors, Crafted to Last

Pierre is engineered with the demands of outdoor living firmly in mind. All upholstery — available in fully removable fabric or leather — is treated to resist UV exposure and the elements, ensuring lasting vibrancy across a palette of warm, summery pastel tones. Water-repellent canvas, treated metal frames, and high-performance upholstery fabrics work in harmony to preserve both the aesthetic and structural integrity of each piece over time. When not in use, a waterproof and breathable polyester cover provides an additional layer of protection.
