Eivissa Light & Proof Pavilion

Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Ethimo, the Eivissa Light & Proof pavilion is one of three configurations within the acclaimed Eivissa modular pavilion collection and the one that prioritises all-weather shelter without sacrificing the lightness and visual openness that define the collection as a whole. Its fixed compact polycarbonate roof offers dependable protection from sun and rain year-round, while its clean architectural lines and premium powder-coated aluminium construction ensure it integrates beautifully into any luxury outdoor environment.

Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, widely regarded as one of the golden couples of Italian design  have spent over 25 years crafting objects that transcend trend and pursue essence. Their approach is philosophical as much as aesthetic: a search for balance, well-being, and a design that is bold without inconsistency, equidistant from excessive decoration and radical minimalism. The Eivissa collection is a direct expression of that sensibility,structures conceived not merely as shelter, but as architecture for living, designed to redefine what outdoor spaces can be.

The Light & Proof configuration starts with a powder-coated aluminium structure of exceptional durability, engineered to perform across sun, wind, rain, and coastal salt air without degrading over time. The polycarbonate roof allows diffused natural light to filter through while keeping the elements at bay, and optional sliding shading fabric curtains can be added to modulate light levels and privacy throughout the day. The perimeter can be further enclosed with sliding tempered glass walls or light curtains, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior and extending the usability of the space into cooler seasons.

Customisation is central to the Eivissa experience. The structure can be placed directly on existing surfaces or elevated on a raised base with integrated flooring in teak slats or stone-effect gres slabs. Sizes, colours, and accessories are fully configurable, allowing each installation to be tailored precisely to the scale, character, and needs of the space it inhabits. Integrated electrical outlets can also be incorporated for lighting, heating, or other devices,making the Light & Proof pavilion as functional as it is beautiful.
