Seeds Dining Table

Cristina Celestino approaches furniture the way an architect approaches a facade — with real attention to surface, pattern and the way a material ages. Seeds, her collection for Ethimo, is built around variegated cotto: a glazed terracotta whose colour shifts tile to tile, giving each table top a slightly different character.

Two sizes are offered. The 83 x 83 cm square seats four and works in a courtyard or on a compact terrace. The 83 x 163 cm rectangle seats six and lines up naturally with the collection’s benches and pot holders.

The frame is powder-coated aluminium in Camouflage Grey, a muted tone chosen to sit back and let the top do the work. At 74 cm the table takes standard dining chairs, and the slim frame profile keeps the visual weight low despite the substantial top.

Seeds was conceived as a modular family — dining tables, a coffee table, side tables and bench/pot-holder units in three lengths — so a garden can be composed from a single kit of parts, mixing seating, surfaces and planting into one continuous arrangement.
