Esedra Oval Coffee Table

At 160 x 80 cm the Esedra oval coffee table is long enough to serve a full lounge group and narrow enough to keep circulation clear around it — the reason ovals so often work better than rectangles in outdoor settings.

The top is pickled teak, a finish that removes the orange warmth of new teak and leaves a soft silver-grey without waiting several seasons for the wood to weather naturally. Against the textured matt aluminium frame — offered in Warmwhite or Dark Grey — the effect is quiet and considerably more contemporary than natural teak would be.

At 40 cm high it is taller than a typical coffee table, which suits the Esedra seating: the collection’s sofas and armchairs sit at a 40 cm seat height, so table and seat align.

Luca Nichetto drew on classical architecture for Esedra, and the table’s clean elliptical geometry is part of that vocabulary. It weighs 21 kg, light enough to reposition when a layout changes.
