Dunne 3 Seat Sofa

Tokyo-born, New York-based Nao Tamura designs with an unusual attentiveness to how objects meet the body, and Dunne is a good example. At 95 cm the sofa is notably deep — deeper than most outdoor three-seaters — which changes the posture it invites from sitting to reclining.

At 255 cm wide it seats three generously. The powder-coated aluminium frame keeps the structure light beneath a substantial upholstered volume, and it is available across GANDIABLASCO’s extensive colour range.

Seat and backrest are polyurethane foam rubber and polyester fibre in water-repellent fabric. The armrests use a quick-drying construction, which is the detail that matters in practice — armrests are what get rained on and sat on wet.

The Dunne collection extends to a matching lounge chair and a concrete-topped coffee table, so a full lounge setting can be built in one material story.
