Corda Dining Armchair

Corda is GANDIABLASCO Studio’s reading of traditional corded furniture — the woven-seat chairs that have furnished Mediterranean courtyards for generations — rebuilt in the brand’s own material.

The frame is aluminium, which keeps the chair genuinely light. At 60 x 61 cm in plan and 80 cm high it lifts with one hand, tucks under a table, and moves easily — the qualities that matter when a terrace gets rearranged often.

The back is braided rope, offered in grey or brown, worked into a pattern of crossing lines that reads as geometry from a distance and as craft up close. Because it is open, air passes through and the chair never traps heat in direct sun.

Two cushions are included, made in technical outdoor fabric over polyurethane foam with a water-repellent cover, so the chair is comfortable enough for a long meal rather than only for short use.
