Absolute Round Dining Table

Absolute Round keeps the base — the same solid, inclined volumes, the same architectural identity — and changes the geometry above it. A circle seats people facing one another, which is a different proposition from an ellipse.

The veining follows the circular edge rather than running the length of the table, which reads as enveloping rather than directional. The thin edge does the same job it does on the elliptical version, keeping the stone from looking like a slab.
