Designed by Matteo Nunziati in 2021 for Flou, the Gaudí Armchair is a celebration of refined craftsmanship and considered design. Drawing inspiration from the harmony between natural materials and soft upholstery, this collection redefines what an armchair can be — a sculptural presence in a room that is equally generous in comfort. Available as a classic armchair or as a corner version with a single armrest, the Gaudí lends itself effortlessly to both intimate seating arrangements and larger, more dynamic living spaces.

Craftsmanship in Every Curve

At the heart of the Gaudí Armchair lies an exquisitely crafted solid wood frame, available in natural, coffee-stained, or black-stained ash, as well as natural and coffee-stained iroko. The structure flows with a graceful sinuosity — from the slender feet up through the gently curved armrests — creating a silhouette that is at once architectural and inviting. This fluid form cradles the soft upholstery and cushions beautifully, while the fully removable cover, offered in a refined selection of fabrics and leathers, ensures effortless maintenance and the freedom to personalise.
