Lustra Floor Lamp

Lustra is closer to a garden structure than a lamp. At 200 cm tall with a canopy spreading to Ø100 cm, Luca Nichetto’s design for Ethimo occupies the space a small tree would — and it is meant to be read that way, as something planted rather than plugged in.

The material is worked wrought iron, the same technique Nichetto used across the Folia pieces. The forming marks are left visible and the finishes are matt rather than glossy, so the metal catches light along its edges instead of reflecting it in sheets.

Four finishes are offered: Metal Textured matt Cinnamon, Textured Limestone White, Olive Green, and Textured matt Dark Grey — all drawn from a palette that sits comfortably against planting and stone.

Placed at the edge of a terrace or over a dining table, Lustra does what good outdoor lighting should: it defines a zone after dark without floodlighting it, and it remains a legible object during the day rather than disappearing into the landscape.
