Nomad Outdoor Rug

At 300 x 200 cm Nomad is a properly large rug — big enough to sit an entire dining setting on, or to define a lounge area on an open terrace where there are no walls to do the job.

Three colourways are offered, each pairing two tones rather than relying on a single flat colour: Sage/Grey, Moka/Grey, and Green/Turquoise. The two-tone weave gives the surface depth and keeps it from reading as a plain mat, while staying restrained enough to work under patterned or coloured furniture.

The rug is woven in polypropylene, chosen for outdoor durability: UV-stable so the colours hold, quick-drying after rain, and washable with a hose. It can be left out through a season rather than rolled up and stored.

Nomad works particularly well as a way of grounding lightweight furniture. A rope-and-teak dining set or a group of metal-framed lounge chairs can look adrift on a large paved terrace; a rug of this scale gives the arrangement an edge to sit within.
