Espagueti Dining Armchair
The Espagueti dining armchair by ERRE for GANDIABLASCO measures 55 x 49 x 79 cm, built from textured powder-coated galvanized steel rod on a textured powder-coated aluminium frame.
The name is literal. Espagueti is built from steel rod — long, thin, closely spaced lengths that form the seat and back the way strands fill a bowl. ERRE turned a structural necessity into the entire visual idea.
At 55 x 49 cm in plan and 79 cm high, the chair is compact and stackable in feel, sized to tuck under a table. The rod construction means it weighs very little and lets rain straight through, so it never pools water.
Both the rod and the frame are textured powder-coated — the rod over galvanized steel, the frame over aluminium. The texture matters on a piece with this much visible surface: a gloss finish would read as hard and reflective, while the matte texture keeps the many thin lines legible.
An upholstered version is also offered for settings where a softer seat is wanted without losing the rod structure.
