Each piece is manufactured in Valencia with great detail and precision. The Buit pouf is not a conventional piece of furniture—it’s the result of a unique collaboration between industrialists and artisans. For many of the creators, working on this design was something entirely new and enjoyable. The process behind the Buit pouf merges advanced technology with traditional craftsmanship, producing a piece that is both functional and creative.

Buit embodies the spirit and history of GANDIABLASCO. It reflects the company’s textile origins through the use of its iconic material: aluminium. The Buit pouf is a central piece in the collection, designed for outdoor use. It is made from powder-coated aluminium mesh with the ideal balance of material and weight.

If the mesh were thinner, the piece would lose its shape and strength; if thicker, it would lose its lightness and usability. The final design is both ergonomic and easy to move, making it suitable for various contemporary outdoor settings.

Special R&D efforts were undertaken in partnership with Kvadrat-Febrik to develop exclusive textiles for this collection. The outcome was a series of laces made from 100% Trevira CS fabric, continuously woven and filled with soft padding. This combination not only enhances comfort but also allows water to drain efficiently, making the Buit pouf durable and ideal for outdoor environments.

The textile has a texture that resembles wool, bringing warmth to its modern structure, while remaining highly resistant to outdoor conditions and long-term use.

The Buit pouf is more than a decorative object; it is a design statement that merges aesthetics with innovation.
