Folia Stool

The Folia stool is the kind of object every outdoor space needs and few ranges bother to make well. At Ø33 cm and 44 cm high it is small enough to tuck away and light enough to carry, and it works as readily as a side table as it does a seat.

Luca Nichetto designed the Folia collection for Ethimo around wrought iron — a material with a long history in Italian gardens, here worked with a texture that catches light rather than being polished flat. The forming marks are left visible, which gives each piece a slightly individual character.

Five matt finishes are offered: Olive Green, Textured Limestone White, Metal Textured matt Cinnamon, Textured matt Dark Grey, and Metal Textured Blue Green. All are chosen to sit naturally against planting and stone rather than against a building.

Paired with the matching Folia coffee table, the stool completes a small, mobile set for the parts of a garden that do not warrant permanent furniture.
