Lodge Coffee Table

At only 21 cm high, the Lodge coffee table is deliberately lower than most. Christophe Pillet sized it to the Lodge seating rather than to convention, so it sits below the line of the sofa cushions and keeps a terrace visually open. Two footprints are offered: a 100 x 100 cm square and a 150 x 100 cm rectangle.

The frame is slim powder-coated aluminium in the collection’s four finishes — Metal Glossy Kaki, Metal Glossy Radice, Metal Glossy Sesamo, and Metal Glossy Black Red. What sits on top is where the table earns its presence. Tops are offered in Fiore di Bosco marble and Dark Red marble, and in enamelled lava stone in Bone White, Oliva, and Amaranto, each with the depth and slight irregularity that only real stone gives.

Ethimo also pairs the finishes as considered combinations — aluminium Kaki with Fiore di Bosco marble, Radice with Bone White lava stone, Black Red with Amaranto — so the table can either recede into a scheme or become its focal point.

Both sizes work in front of the Lodge sofa or XL sofa; the rectangle also holds its own between two lounge armchairs, and the low profile means it never interrupts a sightline.
