Venexia Round Coffee Table

The two Venexia coffee tables are designed to be used together. The Ø60 cm at 48 cm high is tall and narrow; the Ø90 cm at 43 cm is broad and low. Placed side by side they overlap in plan and step in height, which is a far more interesting arrangement than a single table of either size.

Luca Nichetto designed Venexia for Ethimo as a collection about material quality, and the tables show it. The frame is textured matt aluminium — offered in Mineral Grey, Limestone White, Caramel, and Dark Green, matching the Venexia seating — and the top is enamelled lava stone.

Lava stone is worth the specification. Enamelled and fired, it produces a dense matte surface that holds its colour outdoors indefinitely and has a slight depth that no painted or laminate top achieves. Two colourways are offered: Opaque White and Ardesia, a deep slate grey.

The tables weigh 16.5 kg and 38 kg respectively — heavy enough to stay put, which matters on an exposed terrace.
