Designed by BOATTO MARTINO studio for Atmosphera, the Bliss chaise longue extends the collection’s defining design language — the gentle curve, the teak warmth, the material contrast of natural wood against precision aluminium — into the full context of outdoor lounging. It is a piece that understands exactly what a chaise longue is for, and builds every decision around that understanding: the proportion, the height, the seat material, the finish. Nothing here is incidental.

At 216 cm long and only 33 cm high, the Bliss chaise longue commits entirely to the low, ground-hugging posture that the best poolside and terrace loungers share — a profile that feels relaxed and resort-quality without effort, and that reads beautifully from above and from across the space. Its generous 82 cm depth provides ample width for comfortable, unhurried occupancy across the full breadth of a long afternoon. The overall silhouette is clean and linear — the gentle curvature of the backrest introducing the same soft arc found in the Bliss chair, which gives the form just enough movement to prevent it from feeling rigid while maintaining the composed, architectural quality that defines the collection throughout.

The seat is constructed in textilene — a lightweight, breathable mesh material that is the considered choice for a chaise longue of this proportion and purpose. Textilene allows air to circulate freely beneath the body, preventing the heat retention and discomfort that solid or fully upholstered surfaces produce in direct sun. It is taut, supportive, and resistant to UV degradation, moisture, and the demands of sustained outdoor use without the maintenance requirements of fabric upholstery. For those who prefer a softer surface, an optional seat cushion is available across Atmosphera’s range of outdoor fabrics, adding a layer of plush comfort and colour without compromising the clean lines of the piece.

The natural teak armrest is the detail that elevates the Bliss chaise longue above the conventional.
