Lodge Daybed

The Lodge daybed is the collection’s most indulgent piece. At 200 cm long and 100 cm deep it gives a full body’s length of cushion, while the 70 cm back provides enough support to sit upright and read — the difference between a daybed you use and one you simply look at.

Christophe Pillet designed the Lodge collection for Ethimo around a single structural idea: a slim glossy metal frame that carries deep, softly tailored cushions without competing with them. On the daybed that logic is at its most legible, with the frame reduced to a thin dark outline around a broad expanse of upholstery.

The frame is FSC-certified and available in Metal Glossy Kaki, Metal Glossy Radice, Metal Glossy Sesamo, and Metal Glossy Black Red. Cushions are upholstered in outdoor-grade acrylic and Trevira — Acrylic Nature Grey, Acrylic Nature White, Acrylic Moss, Acrylic Walnut, Trevira Dark Taupe, Trevira Brown — in fabrics drawn from natural canvas and finished with denim-style stitching.

Placed poolside or at the quiet end of a terrace, the daybed works on its own. Alongside the Lodge sofa and lounge armchair it becomes the resting point of a larger arrangement.
