Arena Club Chair
The Arena club chair by Søren Rose for GANDIABLASCO is a Ø70 x 80 cm round-plan armchair on a powder-coated aluminium frame, with seat and back in polyurethane foam and polyester fibre under water-repellent outdoor upholstery.
A round footprint is unusual for an armchair, and it is what makes the Arena club chair work the way it does. At Ø70 cm there is no front or back — the chair can be approached and placed from any angle, which suits the loose, circular arrangements Danish designer Søren Rose had in mind.
At 80 cm high the back wraps the full circumference, enclosing the sitter without the visual weight of a square high-backed chair.
The frame is powder-coated aluminium in GANDIABLASCO’s colour range, with seat and backrest in polyurethane foam rubber and polyester fibre under water-repellent outdoor fabric.
