The frame is the chair’s first statement, and it makes it without equivocation. Solid teak, worked into a composition of clean right angles and flat-faced planes, wraps the cushioned interior in a precise rectangular surround. The arms extend horizontally in a single unbroken line from front to back, meeting the vertical uprights at squared corners that give the silhouette its architectural authority. The low platform base, four compact feet lifting the frame just above the floor , grounds the piece with the same geometric conviction as the rest of the structure, completing a form that reads from every angle as exactly what it intends to be. The natural warmth of the teak grain runs through every surface of the frame, softening the precision of its geometry with the organic variation that only genuine timber provides a material that is warm in tone, warm to the touch, and that develops a beautiful character over time.
