Designed by Jamela Alawneh for Melaaura, the Morbido double sunbed is the natural evolution of one of the collection’s most considered designs, a luxury outdoor chaise lounge scaled for two, built around the same principles of architectural restraint, material honesty, and purposeful comfort that define the single version, but with a generous width that transforms it from a solitary experience into a shared one.

Where the Morbido single is an invitation to slow down, the double is an invitation to linger together. At L 211 cm × W 156 cm, it offers ample space for two people to fully recline side by side without compromise,its proportions calibrated to feel expansive and unhurried rather than merely adequate. The solid teak base maintains the architectural clarity and warm material character that runs throughout the Morbido collection: clean right angles, flat-faced planes, and a low platform that grounds the piece close to the surface it rests on, creating the particular quality of ease that belongs to furniture designed for the specific pleasure of doing nothing with great intention.
