Innesti M Pot

Where the Innesti F Pot is tall and vertical, the M Pot is broad. Studiopepe designed it for Ethimo in two formats — a round Ø57.5 cm at 60 cm high, and an oval 50 x 100 cm at 50 cm high — both giving significantly more root volume than a conventional planter of the same visual weight.

The oval in particular is unusual. At a metre long it works as a low trough for grasses or a run of herbs, and its footprint makes it a natural divider between a dining area and a lounge setting.

Both are cast in concrete with the matte, faintly granular surface that gives the collection its architectural quality, and both are offered in Concrete Mastice and Concrete Sabbia — a putty grey and a warm sand tone.

Innesti was conceived as a family rather than a set of individual objects. Grouped with the taller F Pot, the M Pots build a planting composition with real variation in height and mass while holding a single material and palette.
