Patio Club Armchair

The club chair is a form with a long history, and Zanellato/Bortotto approached it for Ethimo’s Patio collection the way they approach most things — by keeping the silhouette familiar and rethinking the surface entirely.

At 72 cm wide, 75 cm deep and 65 cm high, the Patio club armchair is deliberately low and compact. The proportions are those of a chair meant to be pulled into a circle, not lined up along a wall. The FSC-certified natural teak frame gives it warmth and structure; the hand-woven outdoor rope wrapping the back and arms gives it the cocoon quality that runs through the whole collection.

Rope is offered in Light Grey on Light Grey or Laguna on Light Grey, the second bringing a muted blue-green into the weave. Seat and back cushions come in outdoor Polypropylene White, Polypropylene Deep Green, or Acrylic Nature White.

Because it is small in plan but generous in feel, the club armchair is one of the more useful pieces in Patio — it fills a corner of a terrace, faces a sofa without crowding it, or works in pairs beside the Patio round coffee table.
