Patio Lounge Armchair

Between the compact club chair and the three-seater sofa sits the Patio lounge armchair, and it is arguably the collection’s best single piece. At 88 cm wide, 78 cm deep and 75 cm high it has the height to properly support a back and shoulders, and the depth to be worth settling into.

Zanellato/Bortotto designed Patio for Ethimo around the idea of a cocoon — furniture that closes gently around the person using it. The lounge armchair delivers that most literally: the woven rope back curves forward at the sides, so sitting in it feels enclosed without feeling confined.

The frame is FSC-certified natural teak, hand-wrapped in outdoor rope offered as Light Grey on Light Grey or Laguna on Light Grey. Cushions are available in outdoor Polypropylene White, Polypropylene Deep Green, or Acrylic Nature White.

Paired with the Patio round coffee table or set opposite the three-seater sofa, it forms the core of a terrace lounge; the matching daybed and hammock extend the same weave into the more restful corners of a garden.
