Patio 3 Seater Sofa

Patio was conceived by Venetian design duo Zanellato/Bortotto as a lounge collection with a cocoon function — pieces whose shapes wrap around the body rather than simply supporting it. The three-seater sofa is the fullest expression of that idea, 210 cm of enclosing form on a frame of FSC-certified natural teak.

What defines the piece is the rope. Woven by hand across the back and sides, it turns what could have been a plain volume into something textural and light, catching sun during the day and reading as a soft screen in the evening. Two rope schemes are offered: Light Grey on Light Grey, and Laguna on Light Grey, the latter introducing a quiet blue-green that recalls the lagoon the designers grew up beside.

At 85 cm deep and 78 cm high, the sofa keeps a relatively upright posture — this is a piece for sitting and talking, not for sinking. Cushions are offered in outdoor Polypropylene White, Polypropylene Deep Green, or Acrylic Nature White, all chosen to sit quietly against the warm tone of the teak.

The Patio collection extends to a club armchair, lounge armchair, dining armchair, daybed, coffee tables, oval and round dining tables, and a self-supporting hammock, allowing the same woven language to run through an entire garden.
