Ribot Seat Cushion Dining Chair
The Ribot dining chair seat cushion by Marc Sadler for Ethimo comes in five outdoor-grade acrylics: Yellow Apache, Red Navajo, Espresso, Nature Grey and Nature White — all chosen to work with the warm blonde tone of natural teak.
Ribot’s dining chairs are slatted teak, which looks excellent and, over a long lunch, benefits considerably from a cushion. These are cut to the seat rather than bought in a standard size.
Five colourways are offered and the range is more adventurous than most outdoor cushion programmes. Acrylic Yellow Apache and Acrylic Red Navajo are genuinely saturated, chosen specifically because they sing against blonde teak. Acrylic Espresso is the dark neutral; Acrylic Nature Grey and Acrylic Nature White are the quiet options.
All five are outdoor-grade acrylic — soft to the touch, UV-stable so the strong colours do not fade out over a season, and quick-drying so they can stay on the chairs.
Marc Sadler designed Ribot for Ethimo as a full teak family, and the same fabric range covers the dining chair, lounge armchair, footstool and high stool, so a mixed setting can be specified in one cloth.
