Ribot Footstool Cushion

The Ribot footstool is a slatted teak frame; this cushion is what turns it into somewhere you actually want to put your feet up — or, just as often, a low extra seat when there are more people than chairs.

It is cut to the footstool’s exact footprint rather than approximated, so it does not overhang the slats or shift when weight goes on one edge.

The cover is outdoor-grade acrylic from Ethimo’s standard programme — UV-stable so the colour holds through direct summer sun, and quick-drying so an overnight shower does not take the piece out of use.

Marc Sadler designed Ribot for Ethimo as a complete teak family spanning dining chairs, a lounge armchair, barstool, counterstool, footstool and tables, with a cushion specified for each seating piece.
