Majlis Double Sunbed
The Majlis double sunbed by Jamela Alawneh for Melaaura is a two-person outdoor chaise on one shared solid teak platform, with two independently adjustable slatted backs and strapped bolster headrests. Made to order, with custom sizing and fabric options available on request.
From the Majlis Open Air collection by Melaaura, the Majlis double sunbed pairs the collection’s rounded teak plinth with a fully functional two-person sun lounger. Two independently adjustable slatted teak backrests share one platform, each ratcheting through multiple recline positions — from flat daybed to upright reading angle — so each side reclines on its own. Plush mattress cushions and strapped bolster headrests keep the profile soft and hotel-like.
Lay both backs flat and the double sunbed becomes a clean, minimal daybed for two. For single poolside lounging, the collection also offers the Majlis single sunbed and the Majlis sun lounge.
Frame and platform in solid Grade A teak; cushions upholstered in weather-resistant bouclé over quick-dry foam. Designed for pools, terraces and spa settings.
