Ziliani, who studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano under the legendary Achille Castiglioni, brings a rare softness of vision to his work,a preference for listening over declaring, for looking at things with always-fresh eyes. This sensibility is fully alive in the Kilt XL. Where many outdoor armchairs trade comfort for aesthetics or vice versa, the Kilt XL refuses the compromise entirely. Its generous proportions; L 80 cm × W 85 cm × H 67 cm, create a seat that genuinely envelops the body, while the precision of its material composition ensures it reads as elegantly restrained rather than oversized.

The FSC-certified natural teak frame is woven with round rope in a warm Sand tone, a pairing that brings together the organic richness of sustainably sourced wood and the artisanal texture of hand-crafted cord. Together they create a surface that is as pleasing to touch as it is to look at, and that only grows more characterful with time spent outdoors. Cushions are offered in three carefully considered fabric options — Polyolefins soft Ivory Melange, Canapa Ruggine, and Canapa Foglia, each drawn from a natural, earthy palette that feels deeply harmonious with the teak and rope composition.
