Introduced in 2021, Flora is a bold and imaginative outdoor seating system designed by Ilenia Viscardi for Flou. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms found in nature, each individual unit echoes the gentle curve of a flower petal, resulting in a collection that feels as much at home in a lush garden as it does on a contemporary terrace. Available in both single and double configurations, Flora’s modular nature invites free-form arrangement, allowing users to compose layouts that are entirely their own — unconventional, expressive, and beautifully fluid.

Exceptional Comfort Meets Outdoor Durability

Flora is generously padded throughout, delivering a level of comfort rarely associated with outdoor furniture. Its fabric covers are engineered specifically for exterior use, combining resilience with refined aesthetics. A defining design detail — bold black zippers tracing the edges of the seat and backrest — serves a dual purpose: providing effortless cover removal while acting as a striking graphic accent that accentuates the collection’s softly sculpted silhouette. An optional removable outer ‘cloak’ adds another layer of versatility, available in either a matching or contrasting fabric and fastened securely with Velcro for a clean, stable finish.
