GRAPY is a designer lounge chair created by Kensaku Oshiro for GANDIABLASCO, inspired by the simple jute sacks traditionally used by field workers to rest during long days under the open sky. This inspiration has been reinterpreted in a sculptural, modern form that delivers comfort, flexibility, and visual warmth to contemporary outdoor spaces, while evoking a deep connection to nature and everyday rituals of relaxation. It reflects both cultural heritage and contemporary design sensibility.

The GRAPY Lounge chair is composed of three connected volumes, each joined by seams that allow for flexibility and enhanced ergonomics. Unlike rigid seating, the GRAPY Lounge chair adjusts and molds gently to your body, encouraging natural postures and effortless relaxation. Its design offers a feeling of informal ease while still maintaining a refined, thoughtful aesthetic.

Made from a weather-resistant outdoor fabric cover and filled with a combination of polystyrene and foam rubber, the GRAPY Lounge chair is designed to withstand outdoor conditions while offering plush comfort.

The fabric cover is removable and can be customized using any of the outdoor textiles available in the GANDIABLASCO catalog, including the latest fabric collections. This makes the chair adaptable to a wide variety of design schemes, from earthy and neutral to bold and colorful. It’s also easy to clean and maintain, even in demanding weather environments.
