Lodge XL Sofa

Where the standard Lodge sofa is a study in restraint, the XL version is the same idea given room to breathe. At 256 cm wide, 100 cm deep and 70 cm high, it is the anchor piece of Christophe Pillet’s Lodge collection for Ethimo — the sofa you build a terrace around rather than fit into one.

The extra height in the back changes how the piece feels. Where the standard sofa invites you to sink low, the XL gives real support behind the shoulders, which makes it as comfortable for a long conversation as it is for an afternoon spent reading. The depth stays generous at 100 cm, so the cushions can be arranged for either an upright seat or a fully reclined one.

Construction follows the collection: an FSC-certified glossy powder-coated metal frame in Metal Glossy Kaki, Metal Glossy Radice, Metal Glossy Sesamo, or Metal Glossy Black Red, with cushions in outdoor-grade acrylic and Trevira. The fabrics take their cue from natural canvas and are finished with denim-style stitching — Acrylic Nature White, Acrylic Nature Grey, Acrylic Moss, Acrylic Walnut, Trevira Dark Taupe, and Trevira Brown.

Paired with the Lodge lounge armchair, the 150×100 coffee table and a pouf or two, the XL sofa forms a complete outdoor living room in one consistent palette of metal, marble and canvas.
