Designed by Dirk Wynants and developed in collaboration with UMBROSA, a Belgian company specializing in umbrellas and parasols, the UMBRA folding parasol is a masterpiece of design and functionality tailored to complement the GANDIABLASCO outdoor furniture collection.

This partnership has resulted in a product that not only provides essential shade but also enhances outdoor living spaces with its distinctive style and robust construction.

The OMBRA Folding parasol is crafted from 100% acrylic canvas, chosen for its exceptional resistance to ultraviolet rays and its water-repellent properties, ensuring longevity and durability in various weather conditions.

The canvas is supported by a strong pole made of powder-coated aluminum, which is treated with a super-durable powder paint. This combination of materials guarantees both the aesthetic appeal and the structural integrity of the parasol.

A unique feature of the OMBRA Folding parasol is its base, which consists of a set of concrete tiles. These tiles are concealed by a galvanized steel cover, which not only adds to the overall sleek appearance but also provides significant stability. Additionally, the base includes four wheels equipped with brakes, enhancing the mobility of the parasol and allowing for easy repositioning in any outdoor setting.

The design of the UMBRA parasol is notably square and features an eccentric-type configuration. This allows the axis to be shifted from the center to the side, enabling the parasol to be positioned at various angles with a full 360º rotation. Its height can also be adjusted, adding to its versatility and making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor environments, from private gardens to commercial terraces.

For convenience, the OMBRA Folding parasol can be folded into a fan shape when not in use and includes a protective cover. This design consideration ensures that the parasol is not only easy to store but also protected from the elements when not in active use.
